Creating in the traditional Lost-Wax process, I draw with liquid wax, building up small sculptural forms. I then create a mold around each piece, melt out the wax, pour in liquid sterling silver, break the mold and clean up the pieces. Once the stones (natural, high-grade and hand-cut by my father and brother) are set, I buff and polish each ring, pendant, bracelet and earring… to be delivered to its new home. Born and raised in Durango Colorado, I grew up in the jewelry industry, learning the business and skills alongside my family at Durango Silver Company.
